MONDAY 1st APRIL

There is a Mass first thing on Monday morning.

READING TEST - RESOURCES

You will obviously need an hour for the children to complete the test - and at least an hour to go through the questions, if not slightly more.

ART

Over the next two days can the children do some sketching in their sketch books please?

I think it would be great to do some really detailed sketching of trainers / footwear - either from real-life observation, of from photographs. I don't have any old work-boots, but they would also be great - I have included some pictures in the pdf below, which might make a good starting point...

My idea is that they will eventually add the illustrations to a piece of writing about "next steps" - ie a new school / progressing through St. Gerard's etc.

This work should be an extended piece and take a long while if done correctly. If you click HERE it will link to a lovely youtube video showing the level of detail...
